Try This - The Oxford Pantry

While in town over the weekend, enjoying a spot of pre-baby pampering, I popped over to Little Clarenden Street to check out The Oxford Pantry. Celebrating their first anniversary this weekend, this gorgeous little shop is a haven for anyone, like me, with a penchant for beautiful kitchen and dining ware.

Right next door to Strada, the Pantry is owned by Charlotte Creed (Char) and her mother Philippa, who are helped by manager Amelia Bradley; Char, incidentally, is the girlfriend of Chris Manners, who owns The Rusty Bicycle and co-owns The Rickety Press.

Stocking a delightful range of brands, their biggest seller is Blue Dot Pottery from Poland, as pictured on the dresser below; but there are plenty of other treats to tempt you... Nespresso machines, vintage scales, gorgeous copper pans, pretty tea towels and aprons, children's baking equipment, wooden chopping boards, fun glassware, Japanese kitchen knives, plus some delightful serving platters and dishes.

If you can't get into store though, don't fret... you can buy on-line! Yep, for the last six weeks now, you've been able to shop from the comfort of your own sofa, you can even set up a wedding list if you're planning to walk down the aisle any time soon.
