We love our food. Fresh, simple, seasonal and really tasty. And it’s all prepared in our open theatre kitchen so you can see our team of Chefs at work. Our restaurant is a place for people who share an enjoyment for truly great food. Our Cooks Clubs are now running into their third year. We enjoy sharing our knowledge of cooking with you, then enjoying a delicious lunch. Each month the club will start 11.30, offering an hours demonstration before you enjoy a two course lunch featuring a dish that has been demonstrated that day.

Our classes pop-up regularly in venues across Oxford. Most classes last for around 2 1/2 to 3 hours, and are suitable for anyone, from beginner to confident cook. We provide all the ingredients and equipment so you just need to come and enjoy the lesson! Our nomadic style gives us the freedom to offer an exceptionally wide variety of courses, from basic pasta making to constructing glamorous gateaux with our experienced tutors. We all cook together (hands-on is our middle name), then we sit down to taste the fruits of our work, washed down by a glass of wine. Our style is informal, enjoyable, enthusiastic and full of delight in the pleasures of the home kitchen. Sophie Grigson’s Pop-Up Cookery School is for anyone who enjoys cooking with great produce and wants to share that experience with others.

North Oxford’s first – and brand-new – popup home restaurant, serving glorious food from around the world, for love not money. My popup’s for grown-ups who like food and intelligent company, and it’s run not-for-profit. I’m doing this not as part of a career path to super-foodie stardom- I’m simply keen to find a bunch of keen foodies to cook for without leaving my door! I charge enough to cover costs only, so you get amazing value for money. The idea is you come alone, with your partner, or with one or two friends, and encounter new and interesting people sitting at the table with you.
